After a thorough troubleshooting, the technician can often repair the equipment on site, but may of course be required to take the defective equipment home to one of our workshops if the errors are very extensive.

A frequency converter or AC-to-AC converter is typically used to change the AC frequency supplied by an electrical device.
It is especially useful for speed change of electric asynchronous motors – the most widely used type of electric motors.
The principle of the frequency converter is simple and can be described in three steps:
1: AC power is supplied.
2: Alternating current is converted to a direct current via a rectifier.
3: DC is sent through an electronic circuit (inverter) so the result is an alternating current – possibly. with a variable frequency and phase.
However, step 3 is not at all easy to do in practice. Much equipment needs it with very big effects.
It is among other things It is important that much energy is wasted during conversion, ie. that the efficiency must be high, and it is also important that the curve shape of the alternating current is optimal (preferably a perfect sinusoidal curve).
